Exam pattern IBPS Clerk 2017
In this post we are posting about the pattern of IBPS Clerk 2017. And also some tips for preparation. That is how to start preparation and how to continue it till you reach your target.
The exam pattern for prelims in not changed. But the Mains pattern is changed compare to last year.
Prelims Pattern:
This is year prelims pattern is same as old pattern. It contains three sections known as Reasoning, Mathematics(Arithmetic) and English. To qualify in prelims candidate have to obtain the individual cutoff in all the sections and overall cutoff also.
Cutoff varies for different States based on the posts available in that state.
Sections and Their Details are shown below
Mains Pattern:
Mains Pattern changed a bit. A major thing is removed computer section from the main exam. Last year there are Five section in the mains. But this year only Four sections. And like the last year section timing is there. In mains we have Total 200 marks for 190 Questions
Prelims Pattern:

The above is the whole pattern we get this time. No section is negligible. We have to concentrate on each section to get waitage. One time reading is never enough to crack a bank exam.
We have to practice repeatedly and get succeed. In the above pattern you may see some difference between questions and marks. Here reasoning will get 1.25 marks per each question. And negative score as 25% of the marks of 1.25. Except this all carry 1 mark each per question.

Now exam pattern is changed. The total time for IBPS Clerk is 160 minutes but questions are not too less. Anyways cut off will remain high for the exam. So best of luck. It would be better if SBI releases Office Assistant posts too. So that candidates can apply for both.

DeleteYes exactly what you said is correct. But we have to wait for SBI notification it might come in 2018 only. Prepare well for IBPS.
And this time all the banks are going to recruit in association with manipal university. So there is chance of many notifications in coming days.
